GIRL band The Saturdays have been added to the line-up for In:Demand Live, the hottest pop gig of the summer which takes place at the SECC, Glasgow, on Saturday 31 July.
They join an event line-up that is bursting at the seams with chart talent and success including JLS, Alexandra Burke, Diana Vickers, Tinchy Stryder, Alesha Dixon, Professor Green, The Hoosiers, Example, Alex Gardner, Fugative, Eliza Doolittle, Basshunter plus, also added this week, new boy band The Wanted.
The Saturdays -- Una, Mollie, Frankie, Vanessa and Rochelle -- first stormed the UK charts in July 2008 with their debut single “If This Is Love” which earned the girls their first Top 10 placing. Since then they have released two albums “Chasing Lights” and “Wordshaker” that have spawned an impressive six Top 10 singles including ‘Ego, ‘Up’ and ‘Just Can’t Get Enough’. The band is currently working on their third studio album, to be released later this year and their eighth single “Missing You” is scheduled for release on 8 August.
She makes up one-fifth of The Saturdays but yesterday flame-haired Una Healy stood alone after she was signed up by a soft drink company for their girlie tour round Ireland.
The 28-year-old singer looked stunning in a red dress by Julian as she posed for snaps for the campaign in Dublin.
And if she was a bit cold standing by the River Liffey, she didn't show it as she posed for the cameras in her floaty red dress.
Una, who was born and bred in County Tipperary, is the face of a style and pampering tour which will travel round Ireland from next month.
The rugby WAG, who is dating Northampton Saints player Ben Foden, has been enlisted for Diet Coke's 'Love it Light' Roadshow, which will stop at 79 locations across Ireland.
Complimentary pampering will be available at the roadshow courtesy of make-up company Rimmel London and Sally Hansen, and TV stylist Laura Cunningham will dish out style advice at eleven of the stops.
Una will appear at some of the events but her bandmates must come first for her.

Pop girl band, The Saturdays is compromised of five young fashionistas – Mollie King, Frankie Sandford, Una Healy, Rochelle Wiseman and Vanessa White – of whom are all closely followed by the fashion crowd. The girls always look stunning and each have their own individual look – be it blonde or short dark hair.
The Daily Mail reported that The Saturdays recent appearance at the Isle of Man festival proved a bright and bold one; on stage the girls all rocked a colourful look in neon mini dresses. You can try ASOS’ printed neon dress instead, for a more casual and summery look.
The Saturdays opened the festival, and ‘just in case the British summer didn’t show up for the occasion, the girl-band had clearly decided to ensure at least the stage was bright’, reported the Daily Mail. The pop band peformed a range of their hits, including their new single Missing You which releases June 26.

The singer certainly knows a thing or two about fashion and beauty as a member of the stylish girlband, so it was the perfect opportunity to get the lowdown on beautifying in a rush, favourite places to shop and her individual style.
Sarah McIntyre: You're back in Ireland to launch the Diet Coke Love it Light Tour, what does it feel like to be back home?
Una Healy: It's lovely to be back home. I'm proud to be asked to do something as big as this, it's a huge compliment and I hope I do a good job to promote it as well.
SMI: Getting glammed up is part of your job, do you find it a chore or do you love it?
UH: Today it's fine because it's just myself, but when we do shows it's five girls and say you have to be on camera at 8/9am, sometimes we have to leave our houses at four in the morning because there are so many of us to get ready in one tiny little claustrophobic room. Sometimes that can be a bit tough, so it's actually mostly a chore! You have to sit there and go through the whole hair and makeup and sometimes you just go "I wish I could just do it myself" but it wouldn't look as good!
